Millikin University + Tour:Smart

At their best, creative partnerships are surprising, interesting, and perhaps unexpected. We are delighted to juxtapose these new ideas rooted in punk rock disruption with a partner, Millikin University, that has been a cornerstone of traditional conservatory training for the last 116 years.

Whether it's new additions to campus with the building of the University Commons, the installment of the new Neve consoles in the student run recording studio, Millitrax, or reaching out into the community and creating the perfect environment for their signature performance learning with the Midwest Music Expo (MMX), Millikin is there with a helping hand and an open mind.

As our university partner, MU is offering the experience as a 3-hour accredited course.

ABOUT MILLIKIN

Millikin is an independent, four year university that is privately funded and has an enrollment of approximately 2,200 students in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Located in Decatur, Illinois, you will quickly discover that the signature of a Millikin education is a unique experience we like to call Performance Learning. 

Since its founding more than 110 years ago, Millikin has operated under the philosophy of providing an education that combines theory with practice. While this was a radical idea at the time, we know today that practice is not enough.

The Result:

Millikin students graduate with the experience and confidence to succeed. In 2016, 99% of graduates gained employment or entry to graduate or professional schools within six months of graduation.
